Based in quiet, private woodland, our survival course teaches and builds on skills in a challenge to survive any unexpected situation you may find yourself in – in the outdoors, with limited kit and on your own.
Our professional instructors will be to hand to offer you assistance and guidance should you need it. After being allocated a ‘zone’ where you will stay the 3 days, you are commited to surviving in an ongoing preparedness situation. This means preparing for long term survival rather than just lasting 3 days.
In your zone you will make shelter and fire, find water and food. You will be shown basic skills to get you started and then you go to your location to put your teaching into practise.
Our woodland survival course offers you a safe yet realistic survival experience to learn amazing skills, this gives you a unique adventure into self reliance and an on the spot learning curve. Survival is also about remaining positive and keeping your head so you make good decisions, being strong mentally is a little spoken of survival skill that could ultimately decide your fate.
You will be helped and guided where needed, this is an educational course as well as giving you space to work things out, not just handed to you on a plate.
You will receive instruction on how to identify, collect and prepare many wild foods, to complement basic rations that will be provided.
You will also be given, and shown how to prepare and cook, examples of wild food that you would expect to find in similar locations, over a prolonged period of time.
