What is it?
The Beach and Seashore Fishing Course focuses on the detail and hands on practical experience. Through out the course you will be provided with shelter, food and all the required equipment needed to fish from day into night where your focus is sharpened. Some fish are caught in the middle of the day but a lot of fish venture in close to the shore at dusk and dawn, such as the mighty Sea Bass!
The skills you experience on our Beach and Seashore Fishing Course
No previous experience is required, we will start with the basics and progress to a level that will allow you to confidently fish solo. Skills on the fishing course include;
knots, rigs, weights, hooks, baits, rods, reels, casting, equipment needed, tides, fish preparation, weather conditions and fish available through the changing seasons In the many coastal locations.
We fish through the night in shelters we provide, along with all the other fishing tackle and equipment you will need. We can also advise on what kit you’ll need if your thinking of buying your own, there’s a great complete starter beach fishing kit in our shop.
What do you need for the course?
All the equipment needed for the day is provided, unlike some other courses, you will get your own rod, reel and tackle for the duration of the course. If you have some kit, you can bring it along.
Coastal Fishing for food – 1 day and night (24hrs fishing)
10am/10am – Location West Dorset.
Supper and breakfast provided.
Private courses and guiding available on request.
Courses are available mid week and weekends, in spring, summer and autumn.
